Qualified Instructors

With APSI Certified instructors, County Clays is perfect for new and beginner shooters looking for an introduction to clay pigeon shooting as well as providing corrective assistance for more advanced shooters.

Bruce Reid

Bruce Reid has over 40 years experience in shooting and most country pursuits and has been known to catch a prize fish or two. Bruce shoots clays to a high standard and his passion lies with game shooting, therefore, he excels on the driven stands and enjoys coaching same. He is an APSI qualified instructor.

Clark Taylor

At the age of 12 Clark had his first encounter breaking clays and was instantly hooked. As a young man he found a way to bring his love of the sport to others by completing a degree in sports coaching and becoming an advanced APSI shooting instructor.

Clark is realising his ambition as the manager and lead instructor at County Clays, taking a patient and encouraging approach with his clients. He enjoys sharing his passion with others and is proud to create an experience that will not be forgotten at County Clays.

Bill Morrison

Bill Morrison has been shooting for many years and is a top shot on the sporting club leaders board. He is also an APSI instructor, working part-time at the range. He is always happy to give advice and tuition to both novice shooters and those who shoot on a more regular basis.

Angus Turnbull

Ian Davidson

Ian Davidson has a wealth of shooting experience, both rifle and shotgun, from a coaching perspective target shooting is his niche. Ian like Bill is APSI trained and works part-time at the range. What he finds most enjoyable about the job is dealing with new people, ensuring they enjoy their day and that they leave the range with the best of memories.
